The Differences of Food between Indonesia, Arabian, and Germany

Every single country has its own lifestyle. We can see the differences of WESTERN and EASTERN from the food they consumed in everyday life. Eastern is famous with its vegetables and fish, but Western is famous with its meet and fast food. Last October 15, 2011, I joined Tourist Hunt event at Borobudur Temple. I asked 2 foreigners about food, they came from Germany and Arabian. The name of Germany’s foreigner is Mrs. Astrid and the Arabian’s is Mr. Abu Bakar.

Meaning of Life

Life is like a waves. It looks ordinary when flat, and wonderful when it’s high enough. But, when it looks too much high, disasters are ready to come with.
There’s nothing special when our life is flat. When we’re in a high position of life, everything is awesome. We can get anything we want, anywhere, anytime. But , when we’re at the top position of this life, we have to be ready for any kinds of problem that we’ve to play with. Those can make us back to the worse part of our life if we don’t use our maturity to solve.

BATIK for all people in the WORLD!

Batik is not only a piece of cloth with picture on it.
maybe we'll think twice or more to know the meaning. Batik is only a cloth with picture, right? yeah you're right! it's almost same with the other clothes, but, something you have to know that Batik is different with the others is about the processes, how to make it.We aren't using stamp to make the "real" Batik, but. we use pencil, malam, canting, pan, fire/stove, gawangan, colours and cloth (silk or mori).

SOLO birthday! 265!

Last February 17, 2010 , our city, Solo, celebrated Solo's birthday .
Usually, the government holds "kirab"to celebrate. KIRAB BOYONG KEDATON was the theme for this year (2010). We showed all of Solo's culture by traditional dance, traditional clothes, etc. The competitor are Mr. Jokowi as our government, Putra Putri Solo, Junior and Senior High School students, etc.
We showed a lot of culture. For example my school, we wore modern soldier clothes. It was so unique.

SMA 7 birthday party

My school, SMA 7 Solo, was built on November 20 1984. therefore, on November 20 2009, we celebrated it.
we had lot of interesting activities, such as: singing contest, dance, karate, cheerleader, and many more.
One of the most awaited is the selection of Putra-Putri SMOEPHY. It's like a selection of Putra-Putri Indonesia (hehehe). each class has to choose a girl and boy to join this contest, whereas there are 18 classes which will join in this contest. and me, is one of the contestants. we should be wearing the clothes which is asked by the OSIS. for the girls they should wearing KEBAYA and formal clothes for boys. we often felt shy, but we had to do that! okay.. and there're 2 more things that we had to do, walked in front of our friends and teachers after that, the last Putra-Putri SMOEPHY and 2 teachers would give us some questions. can you imagine? I was nervous!
